Property Will Trust

A Property Will Trust can be incorporated in your Will. If a property is held as Tenants in Common each person can leave their respective shares of that property to children whilst the surviving spouse/partner/civil partner has right to occupy the property for as long as they want or until their death and can also make provision for the survivor to move to another property to downsize if necessary.

If the survivor needs long-term care in the future then at least half of the property is preserved for the children. The remainder of the estate can be left to the survivor spouse, civil partner or partner.

Single Property Will Trust

A trust drafted into a Will which passes property to nominated beneficiaries but allows someone to occupy the property.

Joint Property Will Trust

If your spouse, civil partner or partner also requires a Will as a ‘matched pair’ completed at the same time.

We will be happy to check details of any existing Will and advise on its validity or any changes that need to be made. If these are minor changes or the addition of a beneficiary this can be done by a Codicil which is a supplement to your Will.
